This web site and other Motorola Solutions web sites that are linked to this site or affiliated with this site (collectively “the Site”) and all the information, communications, software, scripting, photos, text, video, graphics, music, sounds, images and other materials and services found on the Site (collectively “Content”), is intended for the lawful use of Motorola Solution’s customers, employees and members of the general public who are over the age of 13 and Australian residents. The Site is controlled and operated in whole or in part by Motorola Solutions from its office in Australia. Motorola Solutions makes no representation that these materials are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access the Site from other locations do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. You acknowledge that Motorola Solutions reserves the right in its sole discretion to refuse or terminate access to the Site by you at any time.

Acceptance of Terms

You acknowledge you have read, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation U.S. export and re-export control laws and regulations regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or Australia. You further agree to comply with all local laws, regulations and rules regarding online conduct and acceptable Content. Restrictions on Use of Content

The unauthorized copying, displaying or other use of any Content from the Site is a violation of the law. You acknowledge having been advised by Motorola Solutions that the Content is protected in Australia and internationally by a variety of laws, including but not limited to, copyright laws and treaty provisions, trademark laws, patent laws and other proprietary rights laws (collectively, “Rights”). In addition to Motorola Solution’s Rights in individual elements of the Content, Motorola Solutions or its licensors own a copyright in the selection, coordination and arrangement of the Content. You are hereby granted permission to access the Content from the Site in whole or in part, solely for your personal, non-commercial use of viewing and browsing through the Site or ordering products or services from the Site. This permission terminates automatically if you breach any of the web site Terms of Use. If pursuant to an authorization from Motorola Solutions, you download software from the Site, the software, including all code, files, images, contained in or generated by the software, and accompanying data, are deemed to be licensed to you by Motorola Solutions. Neither title nor intellectual property rights are transferred to you, but remain with Motorola Solutions, who owns full and complete title. You may not resell, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise convert the Software to a perceivable form. Motorola Solutions does not grant you any permission to use the Content other than the permission expressly stated in these Terms of Use. All other use of Content from the Site, including, but not limited to uploading, downloading, modification, publication, transmission, participation in the transfer or sale of, copying, reproduction, republishing, creation of derivative works from, distribution, performance, display, incorporation into another web site, reproducing the Site (whether by linking, framing or any other method), or in any other way exploiting any of the Content, in whole or in part, or downloading and using software repeatedly for uses other than those expressly permitted may not be made without Motorola Solution’s prior express written consent. All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Trademarks and Service Marks

There are a number of proprietary logos, service marks, trademarks, slogans and product designations found on the Site. By making them available on the Site, Motorola Solutions is not granting you a license to use them in any fashion. Access to the Site does not confer upon you any license under any of Motorola Solution’s or any third party’s intellectual property rights.

No Motorola Solutions trademark or service mark may be used as a hyperlink without Motorola Solution’s prior written permission.

Intellectual Property Licenses

For products containing MPEG-4 video functionality, please note such products are licensed under the MPEG-4 Visual Patent Portfolio License for the personal and non-commercial use of a consumer for Encoding video in compliance with the MPEG-4 video that was encoded by a consumer engaged in a personal and non-commercial activity and/or was obtained from a video provider licensed by MPEG LA to provide MPEG-4 video. No license is granted or shall be implied for any other use. Additional information including that relating to promotional, internal and commercial uses and licensing may be obtained from MPEG LA, LLC. See http://www.mpegla.com.

Submission of Information

Although Motorola Solutions provides certain encryption in an effort to protect the electronic transmission of credit card numbers or social security numbers (“Financial Information”) that you submit to Motorola Solutions through the Site, Motorola Solutions does not guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from the Site. You understand and agree to assume the security risk for any information you provide using the Site.

Other than the Financial Information, do not send any confidential or proprietary information to Motorola Solutions through the Site. Except for the Financial Information or personally identifiable data related to you, any information you do send to Motorola Solutions through the Site will be deemed NOT to be confidential (“Non-Confidential Information”) or proprietary (“Non-Proprietary Information”). For any Non-Confidential Information and Non-Proprietary Information you do send, post or submit you hereby grant Motorola Solutions an unrestricted, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute the Non-Confidential Information and Non-Proprietary Information, and agree that Motorola Solutions is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send Motorola Solutions for any purpose whatsoever without compensation to you or any other person sending the Non-Confidential Information and Non-Proprietary Information, and you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the Non-Confidential Information and Non-Proprietary Information and that public posting and use of your content by Motorola Solutions will not infringe or violate the rights of any third party. Your personally identifiable data you submit to us shall be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Motorola Solutions has the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to the Site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Site any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material, any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the law, or any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

Message Boards

There are two types of message boards hosted on Motorola Solution’s web sites: those that are monitored by Motorola Solutions and those that are not monitored. Monitored message boards are moderated and messages are screened for inappropriate content. Please refer to the relevant Motorola Solutions hosted web site to determine which policy applies to a particular message board. Please be advised that message board content is the sole responsibility of the person supplying the content, and Motorola Solutions assumes no responsibility to control such content. Opinions expressed on Motorola Solutions message boards and in any corresponding comments are the personal opinions of the original authors, and not necessarily that of Motorola Solutions. Except for private message boards, which are governed under a separate Non-disclosure Agreement, all messages posted or submitted to a message board shall be treated as Non-Confidential Information or Non-Proprietary Information as outlined above.

Your account and password

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information for accessing the Site as part of Motorola Solutions’ security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party. Motorola Solutions shall not be liable for any loss, liabilities or damages arising from the unauthorised access to the Site by any third party using your password or user identification code as a result of your failure to comply with your preceding sentence.

Motorola Solutions has the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by Motorola Solutions, at any time, if in Motorola Solutions’ opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms of Use. Motorola Solutions Privacy Policy

Motorola Solution’s collection and use of personally identifiable data about you is subject to our Privacy Policy. Motorola Solutions does not seek to collect information about children under the age of 13. No information should be submitted to or posted on this web site by users under 13 years of age.
